I just got INSTAXED!!

Just a few weeks ago, I was informed by Fujufilm PH that I won an Instax Mini 8!!! YES!! A BRAND NEW INSTAX MINI 8!! I joined a blogger's giveaway! I don't want to elaborated on what I did for this giveaway because I already forgot :S I know, what a shame:(  Anyway, I was so shocked and stoked at the same time when they posted a picture (in Instagram and Twitter) saying that I, with 3 others, won a Mini 8!!

To be honest, I totally forgot about this contest that I joined weeks ago and I thought someone already had won, but then when I was browsing Instagram, I saw this post by @TeamInstaxPH (fujifilm's official IG account). I honestly didn't bother to look at the names of those who won than I just skipped the picture, but I couldn't help it, I was too curious to know who those lucky readers are, and I was in shock to find out that I was one of four lucky readers that I even tweeted them to confirm the winners.

I can't contain my happiness when I saw this tweet!! weee!! haha! I was literally jumping for joy!!

Anyway, I'm doing this blog post because I just want to let you guys see what's inside the package :)

 OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! ARE YOU READY? :p Well...I'm gonna let you see the packaging first;)

( Oh and btw, I got "kilig" when they (the fujifilm people) handed me this paper bag, cause it feels so legit, receiving a package from a big company feels sooooo awesome :) hahaha )

 They gave me a Black Instax mini 8, I wanted the yellow or the pink one though but who am I to complain, right?

I, honestly, read those manuals and they're very helpful most especially if you want to capture great looking pictures, so better not lose them or else you'll be doomed!!! (just kidding :p )

 This is how is looks like out of the bubble wrap! (oh and I was disappointed with the bubble wrap, it's not pop-worthy:( haha ) Anyways, the wrist strap is also color black, of course, it's supposed to match the camera, right?

 I find this dial amazing cause my previous Instax has buttons for it's settings, it's an Instax Mini 25 by the way. I also love how you change the settings by turning the dial, it feels so old school!

I honestly can't wait use this baby, together with my mini 25 in capturing wonderful moments and memories!! Oh just one thing, I just need to buy films for this ( it didn't come with a films btw..how sad :( ) hahaha!

Nature Lovin'

 Can you guys think of a better way to spend a long weekend? Well, I was lucky enough to spend mine in this beautiful resort in Batangas. Just by being united once again with Mother Nature, most especially if you're from urban places like Manila and seeing greens and blues everywhere can actually relieve all the pain stress is giving us.

 Nature Tripping wouldn't be complete without visiting the beach. Even though it's not summer time, the heat from the sun was enough for us to enjoy the beach and become a shade darker. haha

I just love taking panorama pictures!! I really find it (panorama settings) awesome, I felt like a pro after taking those shots;)

 Look at this beautiful creation/ pool. I love how the pool is lighted at night and gives accent to the whole perimeter of the resort.

Besides swimming, we also played bowling. We had to wait in line for 20 mins because all 6 alleys are full.

I have to commend the good looking bowling alleys but 2 of the alleys are malfunctioning throughout our game though :(

 Vacation isn't really complete without food right? WELL, that's got to be my favorite part of vacation! Eating endless food and not really minding all the calories you gain after munching all those. haha

Pan Choco Gateau is absolutely a family favorite!! ( 1st layer: Choco Gateau, 2nd Layer: Cream(?) , 3rd Layer: Strawberry Jam, 4th Layer: Vanilla Ice Cream )

 Although not as good as other Halo Halos,served with milk and syrup on the side, this can absolutely satisfy your cravings for something cold and sweet and help you get by on a hot sunny day.

 This Moist Chocolate Cake is also a favorite because of the thick layer of Chocolate Icing. Believe it or not, the think Chocolate is really the best part of this cake.

There is nothing special with this Mexican Chicken Wings. Served with a remoulade dip on the side, this dish is too Sauce-y and powerful to the tongue.

Despite the Good Tasting food in Pico De Loro, their service in the restaurants are as good as their food, it took them 45 mins to take out and serve us our food for 8 (this is not the first time this has happened, happened also when we just ordered food for 3). Well I hope the Pico De Loro Management sees this and takes note of this. Other than that, I had a very relaxing and fun weekend.

Another New Beginning

What an odd title for a new blog post right? Well...it's because I'm not exactly new with blogging. I've had a blog way back but I didn't really had the time to update and all and I really hated myself for that. Also, my previous blog was just about fashion but now, I'm launching a new blog because I found a new passion other than fashion, and it's FOOD.
